Todu I learned that my limit is 25K about 15 miles. I started at 7 and
walked until 4, when the guidebook suggests a 35k day I won’t do it. I just mapped out my trip and I will be in Santiago on the 11th at the soonest.
I stopped at the one albergues that is what it was, run by a religous order, it is in the middle of nowhere and has no electricity
I great sight on the way a field of poppies.
Wonderful what you have learned. I am not sure if I breathe in and out twice with each stride or . . . I get so much more with the steps when I notice. I have thinking more about a description of our lives being lived in 8000 days clusters which puts me well into my 4th cluster and how many that is, breathing mostly unnoticed. The wheat fields are awhat I imagined the Camino to be and hold the vision of them in my mind as I think about your measuring time and counting socks where you are, seeing what you seeing and meeting fellow walkers counting and measuring. Thank you.
Take you time. What’s the rush? Savor the experience, enjoy the walk, live the moment.
Very cool! 15miles. Electricity-free lodging run by religious order. Any other pilgrims stop there too?
Beautiful pictures!
